About Bookkeeping Accountant
Professional bookkeeping and accounting support for U.S. businesses.
Bookkeeping Accountant was founded by Atty. Edwin D. Man, JD, LPT, and Ana Lee Malongayon, CPA, to give business owners dependable financial records, organized accounting operations, and a professional team they can rely on as their companies grow.
From a Small Team to a Professional Accounting Firm
Bookkeeping Accountant began when Edwin and Ana saw two needs at the same time: growing businesses needed reliable remote accounting support, while trained professionals in the Philippines needed meaningful opportunities to apply their skills. They built the company around both.
The Beginning
During the disruption of the COVID-19 period, Edwin and Ana combined their business, professional-services, and accounting experience to create a dependable remote bookkeeping operation.
Building the Team
The founders invested in hands-on training, documented processes, QuickBooks workflows, reconciliations, reporting, and clear client communication—turning a small team into an organized accounting operation.
Today
Today, Bookkeeping Accountant supports U.S. businesses with accurate bookkeeping, cleanup work, accounts tracking, reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax-preparation support.
Meet Our Founders
Bookkeeping Accountant is led by business professionals who understand that reliable accounting requires technical competence, sound processes, responsive communication, and practical business judgment.

Atty. Edwin D. Man, JD, LPT
Atty. Edwin D. Man, JD, LPT, is a lawyer, educator, entrepreneur, business consultant, and professional-services leader. He founded Bookkeeping Accountant and helps shape its strategy, operations, client experience, digital systems, and long-term direction.
His background in business ownership and professional practice reinforces the firm's emphasis on organized processes, responsible service, clear communication, and the practical needs of business owners. His legal work remains separate from Bookkeeping Accountant's U.S. accounting services.

Ana Lee Malongayon, CPA
Ana is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 10 years of experience in financial audit, accounting, and bookkeeping. Before co-founding the firm, she worked with KPMG Philippines and served in senior financial-audit roles with accounting firms in Singapore.
She leads accounting operations and brings practical expertise in the accounting cycle, internal controls, QuickBooks, reconciliations, financial reporting, cleanup work, accounts payable and receivable, and support for U.S. clients.
Why We Built Bookkeeping Accountant
Business owners should not have to run their companies with unreliable books. Accurate records are not merely an administrative requirement—they are part of the operating infrastructure that helps an owner understand what is happening inside the business.
We built Bookkeeping Accountant to take recurring accounting work off the owner's desk and place it inside a dependable, documented process.

Books should accurately reflect what is happening in the client's business.
Reliability
Accounting work should be performed consistently and according to established workflows.
Clarity
Financial information should help owners understand their businesses rather than confuse them.
Partnership
We seek long-term professional relationships—not isolated transaction processing.
