When it’s time for support

Your evenings don’t have to belong to QuickBooks.

Maybe you’re keeping up with sales but falling behind on transactions. Or you have someone entering data, yet still aren’t sure the reports are right. Monthly bookkeeping gives the work a regular place in the calendar.

You’ve outgrown doing it yourself

You want help keeping the books current without adding a full in-house accounting team.

Your team needs bookkeeping support

We can work alongside your office manager, controller, accountant, or tax professional, with responsibilities agreed from the start.

We support U.S. service businesses, professional firms, real-estate businesses, and eCommerce operators. We work in QuickBooks Online and discuss your setup before confirming fit.

The recurring work

What is included in monthly bookkeeping?

We agree on the tasks, accounts, and reports your business needs. Your proposal defines what’s included.

01 / RECORD

Transactions and account records

Recording and classifying business transactions, reviewing the general ledger, and providing journal-entry support.

02 / RECONCILE

Bank, credit-card, and loan accounts

Matching activity to statements and investigating differences for the accounts covered by your engagement.

03 / TRACK

Invoices, payments, and bills

Customer invoicing, payment-status monitoring, and accounts receivable and payable tracking where included in your scope.

04 / REPORT

Monthly financial reports

Balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, and management summaries as agreed, with missing records and unresolved items identified.

What the month looks like

A clear handoff, from records to reports.

  1. Gather the records

We request the statements, receipts, reports, and supporting information needed for the period. You provide the records and flag anything unusual.

  2. Record, reconcile, and follow up

We review transactions, reconcile the agreed accounts, and ask about items that need context. We document questions instead of silently guessing.

  3. Prepare your monthly reports

After the agreed review, we share the reports and open questions. The reporting timetable is set during onboarding around your operations and the records available.

  4. Make the next month easier

We refine recurring classifications, document requests, and closing procedures with you. We can also coordinate supporting records with your U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent.

Working together

Good bookkeeping needs input from both sides.

What our team handles

  • The recurring bookkeeping tasks in your agreement
  • Document requests and follow-up questions
  • Reconciliation and review of the agreed accounts
  • Monthly reports and a record of unresolved items

What we need from you

  • Agreed access to your accounting software and records
  • Statements, receipts, and other requested documents
  • Answers about unfamiliar transactions and business activity
  • Required approvals and notice of changes to your operations

Missing records or unanswered questions can delay reconciliation and reports. We’ll agree on the handoff dates and reporting schedule during onboarding.

Scope and fee

Monthly bookkeeping pricing and packages

We build your monthly bookkeeping package around your accounts, transaction volume, and reporting needs. Your proposal identifies the recurring work, deliverables, fee, and responsibilities. Historical cleanup is quoted separately; additional tasks are discussed before they are added.

Bring a few details to the call

  • Your business type and accounting software
  • Number of bank, credit-card, and loan accounts
  • Approximate monthly transaction volume
  • Reports and bookkeeping tasks you need help with
  • Whether the books are current or behind

Behind on earlier periods?

Historical cleanup is assessed and quoted separately. We’ll review the starting point and explain what needs attention before regular monthly work can proceed.

Your accountant stays in the picture

Bookkeeping support that works with your U.S. tax professional.

We maintain accounting records, prepare reports and supporting schedules, and can coordinate with your U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent. This bookkeeping engagement does not include U.S. tax-return preparation or filing, or decisions about tax positions. Those remain with your appropriately licensed U.S. professional.

“Ana and Kia were recommended to me by Matt Krieger, and I have been working with them on two businesses. I never have to worry if things are getting done—and done right! I have so much less stress handing this part of my business off to them, and I’m grateful.”

Before you get started

Questions about monthly support

How often will I receive reports?

Monthly reporting is standard. We agree on the exact reports and timetable during onboarding, based on your operations, closing schedule, and when the required records are available.

Can you take over from my current bookkeeper?

We can review the file and discuss a handover. We’ll confirm the starting period, records, access, and any unresolved balances before agreeing on the work.

What if my books are several months behind?

We assess the backlog first. Cleanup is a separate engagement with its own scope and fee; it is not automatically included in monthly bookkeeping.

Do you work in QuickBooks Online?

Yes. We can work in QuickBooks Online and coordinate with your existing team. Tell us about any other software or connected systems so we can confirm what support is practical.

Can you work with my internal staff or CPA?

Yes. We can collaborate with you, your office manager, controller, accountant, or U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent. We agree on who handles each part of the work.

How much will the service cost?

The fee depends on the agreed tasks, accounts, transaction volume, and reporting needs. We review these with you and agree on the scope and fee before starting.

Changing providers?

Plan a clear handover.

Tell us your last completed month, the records you can access, and your preferred start date. We’ll discuss what can transfer into monthly support and what needs a separate review.
